| Sunder Rajan,
is a Tam Brahm engineer entrepreneur who picked up the bass
guitar two years ago, and hasn’t let go since. Phlegmatic and
stoical, he plays out serene bass lines around which his musical compadres
cavort. |
| Robin Thyagarajan
is all tipped to be the next guitar hero. Blessed
with spectacular talent bordering on the phenomenal, this Mallu has
decided to dedicate his life to the guitar. Dulcet tones, whispered
trills, ornate runs; they are all his to command as his guitar complects
harmony. |
The song Manager
Saala has been written and composed by two students from
the Institute of Management Development and Research,
Pune and is a acerbic look at managers. Debanjan Som -
a Bong management graduate with a disposition for cigarettes
and Bengali food, has sung it. He plans to work in the financial sector,
and is all set to join a leading bank, though hopefully the lure of
music would make him change his mind. |
Working with a Dream
is an impromptu jazz funk jam, which sees Robin in fine fettle as
he and his mates float and weave musical lines together. Sorrow is
a consciousness expanding freaky number, which has Anand Sukumaran
on vocals, if you could call it that! Anand Sukumaran
is a perilous composite of Mallu and North Indian origin,
with a Bong strain thrown in for good measure.
A Miscellaneous Culture Vulture, he professes a love for art, food,
and women.
