ORANGE STREET


Orange Street ended their Europe Tour in Nottingham, UK on 25th July,
2004.They performed at the Little Chili festival in London on 19th july
alongside Trilok Gurtu. After that at Hackney, London on 21st July and at
Brighton on 22nd july 2004.

Before this the band performed in Oslo, Norway on 16th at club MIR and also
the Slottsfjell Festival on 17th.
On 18th july the band perfromed at ESTONIA for the Sundance Music Festival.
On 10th july Orange Street played at PEACE AND LOVE festival at Borlange,
Sweden. It was again very well recieved and the band was interviewed by
swedish press. Orange Street were also invited to record for swedish
producer Johanne for a world music album which is to feature Manu Chao as
well. Anirban Chakraborty and Imran Khan recorded their voices for the same.

The band played tracks from their new album "Dharma".
Some of the songs played were: # naash # dharma # mirror # morey piya # wish
for love # narayana fat boy slim orange street prodigy mix # harey rama
harey krishna # perminder # 5 points and # Another Brick in the Wall the
Orange Street U2 Chemical Brothers mix.

On 12th August, 2004 Anirban Chakraborty (vocalist) of Orange Street was
invited by Asian Dub Foundation (ADF) to record on a track with them for
their new album. Anirban was also asked to write words for the track. The
recording took place at the Old Street, London.

The guys from ADF spoke highly of the new Orange Street album called
"Dharma" and have agreed to do remixes of some of their tracks in ADF style.
The collaboration is likely to happen by November this year.

After a highly succeful tour in Europe Orange Street is going back again for
their second tour in January, 2005. Currently, the band is preparing for a
video shoot of one of the songs from their new album.
