It wasn't the kind of gig people have come to expect to see at Shisha Café. Meaning Blue Buddha is not a jazz band. Two Californians, Blue and Lewis were backed by the popular Pune rhythm section of Sandy (drums) and Rushad (bass).

If one came in expecting a jazz set, one would have been disappointed. However, the band played a rather lively and enjoyable set, in a rock feel for most part. Although they did perform a few covers, it was Blue's originals that really caught everybody's attention. Especially his track titled "Tender Morsels". Blue's powerful vocals definitely stole the show.
