5th OCTAVE ( Mumbai )

The gig started off with a Mumbai-based band
called " 5th OCTAVE " with Manoj Kumar at the Vocals.
The Hot English covers by that band was something that was really
awesome. Numbers like 'Too Hot to Handle ' and many more were what
the crowd was waiting for. All the way from Mumbai , they rocked
Pune .A little disappointment to the crowd happened when there was
a problem with the electricity but 5th OCTAVE didn't stop then too,
They continued to rock even without mic and electric equipments
. The wait was over and all things were set straight shortly.

HEADRUSH
( Pune ) :
Along
came HEADRUSH .....Heading with a rush into the minds of the people.
HEADRUSH played some rocking numbers of english covers along with
some foot-tapping numbers of their own. It was more energetic than
ever before. Headrush with Bhushan on the vocals and a great band
to follow him , just had the crowd on their feet urging for more.

Headrush
had just filled up the energy into the crowds when a Pune-based
band PROSODY took on the proceedings . Being a new band, They gave
their best performance for the crowd and hit some really famous
numbers of english covers like Metallica,AVR,etc.They entertained
the crowd but lacked some amount of energy into their performance.
Their performance was good .

AFTERTASTE
( Mumbai )
:
After
PROSODY , another band from Mumbai entered the
wagon. This time it was the band called AFTERTASTE
. Keegan at the vocals , Michael at the Guitar , Reull at the bass
and Levin at the Drums .Aftertaste with their unique style gave
the crowd the taste of rock and hip-hop and it was like a treat
for the crowds.They are a nu-metal music band . It was
like.."WOW,What a band". Full of energy and great amount
of dedication, they had the People literally jumping and dancing
to their foot-taping tunes. Planning to make an album , they enchanted
the crowd with their own compositions like ' Operation Water ' ,
it was like a non-stop action music for the crowd. People requesting
them to play songs were graced when their requests were played by
Aftertaste. A funky Hip-hop number with their guest vocalist Biju
was something the crowd never expected to be coming .

Every good thing has to come to an end and
so did this gig . Thanks to 5th OCTAVE, HEADRUSH, PROSODY
and AFTERTASTE ,and of course the sponsors , Kingfisher
Premium Beer and RaDiaX energy drink ,it was a day that rock music
lovers will never get off from their minds ...AWSOME MUSIC, GREAT
BANDS and CRAZY CROWD, that's all that ROCKED the FRIENDSHIP
DAY (05th August,2007) at GAIA, PUNE.
